Kosovo in Brussels vol.1

One Sunday afternoon in February 2008 I went out for a walk. I spent a couple of hours loitering along the streets of Brussels. I did not take any photos as there was nothing special happening. I headed slowly back home. Then all of a sudden, near Tour de Madou I heard people screaming, horns beeping and a cavalcade of cars approached. The cars were full of young people, leaning out of the windows and waving the flags of Kosovo. They were enjoying the first day of independence.

Un trajet, neuf photos vol.1
