End-of-Year Exhibition

This is an open invitation to a photography exhibition in Brussels. This year I am going to present a reportage which is a part of a documentary project devoted to Poland B and which shows pig slaughtering for domestic use in a village near Sandomierz - a small town in South East Poland. Intense aesthetic experience and a high artistic level guaranteed. Especially I would like to invite those of you who always wanted to know what a pig has got inside.

Another Fire in Brussels 1

Another Fire in Brussels 2

The last days of 2010 saw another fire in my street. I was watching TV one December morning when I smelled smoke. It came from burning woods and I thought that I live in a district where people do their best so as to live close to nature. Only a few days earlier I hear a flock of hens cuckle, now I smelled smoke coming form a natural fire...and then all of a sudden the whole street was dark with smoke, I saw the lights of a fire brigade and I realised that the source of the smoke was not natural at all: down the street, only twenty metres away, a house was burning. I woke up my family and a friend of mine who was visiting us, we both grabbed our cameras and run out of the house - to check whether we would have to evacuate and to take some photos. My New Year's wish? May it never happen to any of us!
