Brussels Jazz Marathon

Jazz in Brussels. Each year the city organises a jazz festival - a really huge venue! There is one big scene at the Grote Markt and a number of smaller gigs in various bars. The big concerts at the main market place and at the St. Catherine are simply boring because they are too big. It is much better to go down the pub and get drunk while listening to small jazz groups. But it is even better just to get drunk basically anywhere. Taking advantage of the fact that my then ex-girlfriend went away for the weekend, I invited a good friend of mine to stay over and we started enjoying Belgian beers on Friday night. Obviously we enjoyed them a lot and the very next morning we decided to get up very early and go for breakfast in the city centre. Around 1 p.m. we arrived in Porte de Namur, still suffering from hangover and we found the best jazz venue of the whole festival: two musicians playing live in the street. Drunk as I was, I decided to find an unusual angle for the images and here's the result. Then we finally had breakfast.
